Key Responsibilities:
– General Cleaning:
- Vacuum, dust, and polish to ensure spaces are spotless.
- Keep floors, furniture, and windows clean and presentable.
- Handle trash by emptying cans and ensuring proper disposal.
– Supply Management:
- Track and restock cleaning supplies like detergents, floor wax and furniture polish.
- Ensure general and guest restrooms, as well as rooms, are stocked with essentials like soap, toilet paper, and towels.
– Linen Care:
- Replace and wash bed sheets and linens.
- Ensure guest requests regarding linens are promptly met.
Key Skills and Qualities:
- Always friendly and professional with guests and clients.
- Ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and to a high standard.
- Capable of working without constant supervision, but also a team player.
- Must be fit for activities like pushing, lifting, and carrying.
- Interact positively with guests and clients.
- Replace bed linens efficiently.
- Use the right cleaning products for different surfaces and items.
- Operate common cleaning tools, like vacuums.
- Maintain high-quality work standards and collaborate effectively in teams.
Basic Requirements:
- Some experience in hotel cleaning is a plus.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines.
- Good communication.
