TBest Services is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer specializing in Material Handling Systems on behalf of our client. This role is perfect for those with a solid background in selling conveyor/material handling/automation solutions, industrial equipment, packaging solutions, or robotic solutions, who are motivated by attractive financial returns, the independence of remote work, flexible work arrangements, and a collegial team environment.
This position is dedicated to expanding business presence in the North Carolina/South Carolina areas. Candidates who already have established connections and a client portfolio within these regions will be given priority. Although the role is primarily remote, the selected individual must be prepared to travel within and occasionally outside these regions as business needs dictate.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience selling to end users in related fields such as conveyor and sortation, industrial automation, storage, order picking solutions, packaging, robotics, and other industrial equipment and solutions. An impressive sales track record and existing customer relationships are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose customer material handling issues and engineer appropriate solutions
- Propose and sell the solution, collaborating with the customer and operations team from project initiation to completion to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor the financial status of the project, including selling price, costs, and profit until the final invoice payment
- Generate profitable revenue growth by achieving sales objectives
- Develop and sustain relationships with new and existing customers to ensure high customer satisfaction, foster long-term relationships, and secure repeat business
- Report activities accurately within the designated timeframe set by the Sales Manager
- Accurately maintain necessary company records and files
- Undertake active prospecting
Qualifications:
- Strong relationship building and closing skills
- Successful track record with at least 5 years of experience selling conveyor, storage, and other material handling systems to end users
- Existing customer base
- Able to effectively assess customer needs, present products and solutions, and close sales
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills and highly organized
- Eager and able to prospect new business, nurture repeat business, and manage a large customer base
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and most common PC and web applications (preferred)
- Basic understanding of electrical and controls (preferred)
