TBest Services Inc. has a Front Desk Clerk for one of our clients out of Harford County, MD. You will be responsible for greeting guests in a courteous and professional manner. You will be responsible for call in and walk in reservations which include processing payment and safeguarding guest information. You will coordinate services per guest requests to ensure a positive stay.

You will maintain the front desk area in a clean professional manner. You will need to work collaboratively with other staff members in the hotel to ensure a safe, positive stay for the guests. As need you will be expected to assist others in maintaining the cleanliness of the property. GED or H.S. diploma. 0-2 years of customer service experience. Must be willing to undergo a background check as a part of the hiring process.

  • Perform guest check in and check out
  • Answer multi line phone
  • Keep accurate account of reservations
  • Engage with a variety of customers in a professional manner
  • Remain calm under pressure
  • Exhibit problem solving skills in difficult situations

  • Maintain the welcome desk with a professional appearance

Qualifications for Hotel Front Desk Clerk

  • 0-2 years of customer service experience
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to use various office equipment
  • Able to use a multi line office telephone
  • Ability to reconcile a cash drawer
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • Able to work varied shifts
