TBest Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist with electro-mechanical assembly and PCB soldering experience to join our client’s team in Elkridge, MD. Our client excels in the production of high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies, chassis integrations, and cable assemblies. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of electro-mechanical assembly solutions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies, printed circuit boards, and cable assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Review blueprints and specifications to confirm that manufacturing processes meet production requirements.
  • Suggest enhancements to manufacturing processes to improve product quality.
  • Use precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers) to inspect and test materials and equipment.
  • Identify, isolate, and strategically address nonconforming products to improve quality.
  • Make informed product acceptance decisions and collaborate with the production team on inspection results.
  • Implement spot inspections to maintain consistent quality across products.
  • Enforce safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free manufacturing environment.
  • Manage the nonconforming materials system for rapid containment and resolution.
  • Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of production control plans.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of manufacturing quality issues.
  • Perform quality management system and process audits.
  • Supervise equipment calibration and maintenance inspections.
  • Execute process capability studies and measure repeatability and reproducibility analyses.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions to improve quality.
  • Serve as the primary quality liaison for daily production operations.
  • Comply with ISO standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation as required by operations or quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance, particularly in electro-mechanical assembly and printed circuit board manufacturing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Expertise in using precision measuring equipment.
  • Exceptional analytical, detail oriented and problems-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Dedication to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Employment Details:
Wage: Negotiable, starting at $60,000 per year
Employment Type: Full Time/Temporary
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift
Potential for permanent employment.
