TBest Services, Inc. is currently seeking Can Line Packing Operators at Hanover, MD facility. We offer a dynamic work with two 12-hour shifts and a flexible schedule of 3 or 4 days per week.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up machines with required materials, loading and unloading materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
- Inspect and pack manufactured products efficiently.
- Operate line equipment such as tapers, printers, strappers, and cover-ups.
- Independently operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Understand and follow work instructions, including work orders, specification sheets, and production reports.
- Comply with industry food safety standards, including SQF and internal GMPs.
- Understand that working overtime is a condition of employment.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months of related experience and/or training.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and understand simple instructions in English. A second language is a plus.
Math Skills:
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or smell.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Schedule:
- 2 shifts available, 12 hours each.
- Schedule of 3 or 4 days per week.
