TBest Services, Inc. is seeking Food Packaging Line Workers to join our client’s expanding team in Hunt Valley, MD.
This crucial role is at the heart of our client’s operations, focused on maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency in the packaging of food and spices. We have positions available for both our first and second shifts (start time could be variable). This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic food production environment and are detail-oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging machines to seal, label, and pack food products and spices.
- Follow all safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the food and spices production and packaging area.
- Perform visual inspections of packaged goods to ensure they meet the quality standards and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Prepare the packaging line for daily operations, including cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet and exceed production goals and deadlines.
- Ensure all products and spices are packaged according to company standards, including proper labeling and date coding.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following strict sanitation protocols and disposing of waste materials.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
- Previous experience is not required.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks with considerable dexterity.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and walking.
- Basic math skills to count products and manage inventory.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must not have any food allergies, as this role involves direct contact with a variety of food products and spices.
- Proficiency in English is not required, but candidates must be able to read and understand simple verbal and written instructions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
License/Certification: Driver’s License (Preferred but not required)
Shift Availability: Day Shift, Night Shift
Work Location: In-person
