We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Buffalo, NY  to join our client’s healthcare team, providing exceptional care to the patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or doctor. This role demands a qualified professional capable of delivering basic patient care in a patient and calm manner. While it’s a challenging position, it is also immensely rewarding.


  • Accurately record a patient’s medical history.
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
  • Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
  • Monitor patients’ condition, including fluid intake and output, and maintain accurate patient charts.
  • Assist patients with daily activities as necessary, such as eating and bathing.
  • Administer injections, prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds, and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
  • Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients’ families or friends, providing advice, comfort, and release instructions.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse or similar role.
  • Ability to handle a variety of care tasks and work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data entry.
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate nature and ability to handle stress effectively.
  • Successful completion of an LPN license program.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a willingness to live or relocate to Buffalo, NY.
