TBest Services is seeking an experienced Non-CDL Delivery Drive for one of our clients in Buffalo, NY.
In this role your primary responsibility will be to transport and collect a range of goods, equipment and supplies directly.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently handle freight using cranes, conveyors, piggybacks, or manual methods, adhering to specific procedures and regulations.
- Ensure the safe navigation of routes to job sites, strictly complying with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Accurately reconcile customer deposits and receipts for all valuables managed during daily operations.
- Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle, addressing any issues promptly and appropriately.
- Keep the van/truck in a clean and orderly condition.
- Oversee, prepare, and maintain the company’s equipment in the warehouse, ensuring readiness for orders.
- Engage in cross-training activities, offering assistance and advice in related tasks as needed.
- Perform activities that involve lifting, moving, and handling objects up to 100 pounds.
- Undertake driving assignments to various locations as required.
- Maintain accurate and current driver’s logs and vehicle inspection sheets.
- Adhere to DOT and DMV standards, particularly in the transport and placarding of hazardous materials.
Qualifications:
- Valid NY State Driver’s License
- Must be able to lift to 100 pounds continuously.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle in a variety of driving scenarios and conditions.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment specific to the assigned branch fleet.
- Bilingual is a plus: English + Ukrainian/Russian
