TBest Services is actively seeking an experienced Recruiter with a background in home care services for our client based in Albany, NY.
This role requires the candidate to have a strong understanding of nursing and healthcare. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the recruitment of highly skilled and compassionate professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruiting strategies tailored to our needs.
- Prepare and post job descriptions to appropriate platforms.
- Source potential candidates through databases, social media, and other channels.
- Evaluate applicants’ resumes and applications, ensuring they align with our requirements and values.
- Conduct thorough interviews using reliable selection tools and methods.
- Assess applicants’ knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitudes relevant to the home care services sector.
- Oversee the onboarding process to fully integrate new employees.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and apply HR recruiting best practices.
- Prepare well-documented reports to inform the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter, preferably within the home care services sector.
- A robust understanding of the nursing and elderly care sectors.
- Ability to conduct different types of interviews and employ various selection processes.
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build relationships.
- Sound decision-making skills.
- Hands-on experience with skills assessment centers and other evaluation methods.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
