Responsibilities include:
- Writing work instructions and setting up workstations for new processes and assemblies
- Improving existing processes
- Helping to oversee new builds for accuracy and timeliness
- Estimating labor times when quoting new assemblies
- Work with Manufacturing Personnel to work out kinks and continuously improve processes during new or existing builds
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2 year degree with equivalent experience considered
- Ability to communicate well with both superiors and manufacturing personnel
- Well versed in reading and understanding CAD drawings and schematics
- Familiar with Best Manufacturing Practices
- Ability to work both behind a desk and on manufacturing floor
- Professional attitude when interfacing with both floor personnel and customers
