Currently, we are on the hunt for an experienced Business Operations Manager, with a specialization in Digital Operations/E-commerce, to join our client’s dynamic and energetic team based in Houston, TX.

As the Business Operations Manager, you will step into a strategic leadership role with boundless opportunities for professional growth. You will be at the heart of our client’s business operations, orchestrating daily activities to ensure seamless workflows and the attainment of key business goals.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Business Development:

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the business, including the development and execution of strategies to meet organizational objectives
  • Provide strategic leadership to grow the business
  • Lead initiatives to scale up the business, with a focus on increasing client onboarding rates
  • Establish and manage budgets, monitor revenues, and control expenditures
  • Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders on strategic planning and business development
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations

Operational and Client Support Management:

  • Experience in building and streamlining online systems for businesses
  • Develop and manage an efficient client support system for all online clients
  • Create and enforce streamlined onboarding systems to expedite and simplify the client onboarding process
  • Construct and nurture systems for continual client support, guaranteeing their satisfaction and success
  • Develop and refine operational strategies to enhance workflow efficiency, increase productivity, decrease expenses, and boost revenue generation

Team Management and Development:

  • Facilitate the recruitment, hiring, and induction processes to assemble a proficient team for client support roles
  • Lead and mentor the support team, instilling inspiration and motivation to accomplish outstanding outcomes
  • Perform regular performance assessments and deliver constructive critiques to boost both individual and collective performance
  • Design skill enhancement programs and resources to broaden the team’s knowledge base and abilities

Feedback, Evaluation, and Improvement:

  • Set up mechanisms for feedback collection to glean insights from clients and team members, thereby pinpointing areas that need improvement
  • Regularly hold review sessions with team members and clients to gather feedback and improve service provision
  • Harness data and analytics to gauge operational performance, discern patterns, and guide data-informed decisions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5-7 years of experience in a senior management position, with a focus on e-commerce or online businesses
  • Demonstrated track record of scaling businesses and driving revenue growth
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with client support systems and operational systems for online businesses
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, and the ability to multitask and manage complex projects
  • High integrity, work ethic, strategic thinking, and business acumen
  • Certifications like PMP or Lean Six Sigma are desirable
